As a Senior Sales Account manager for the Chemical and Process Industry area, you will be reporting to the Sales & Engineering Director, responsible for identifying and maturing leads in this area, and pro-actively converting the project's pipe support detailed design.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identifying leads in the chemical and process industries, maturing their contact network, and pro-actively converting the project's pipe support detailed design
  • Coordinating the design process in chemical and process industries projects between clients, engineering contractors, and Sikla’s design departments
  • Supporting the tender process and developing supply concepts with installation contractors
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product and software education (CPD and lunch & learn)
  • Keep updated on both our clients’ CAD design requirements and the various Sikla software solutions, improving both parties’ performance by feedback
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors and EPC, by managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required
  • Arrange and carry out product training (onsite or virtually)
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Meet regular sales targets and KPIs, and coordinate sales projects, within the chemical and process industries.
  • Support accounts and projects based in the UK 

Your Profile

  • Mechanical, piping or associated background 
  • Confidence to present technical solutions to new audiences
  • Ability to understand complex project-specific decision-making processes
  • Good understanding of computer-aided design processes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Resilience and tenacity 
  • Independence, self-reliance and joy in business travelling
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) concept and methodology (preferred)
